PARISH CARE MINISTRIES

HOW TO CONTACT CARE MINISTRIES:

Susan Cafferty, Parish Care Ministries Coordinator is at the church on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. and on Fridays from noon till 2 p.m.

       Her schedule also involves visiting church members and friends at the hospital, in nursing homes, or in their homes.

      She, Pastor Chad Gilbertson or other members of Parish Care Ministries may be reached by phone at the church: 235-5403.  In an after-hours urgent situation, Susan my be reached by cell phone at 320-220-3789.

Some Parish Care Ministries Activities

Visits to homebound members and friends of the church.

Delivery of worship tapes, bulletins and printed sermons.

Transport to the doctor for those who don't drive or don't own a car.

Blood Pressure checks every 4th Sunday morning between worship services in the fall/winter and after worship in summer.

A standing invitation to call or email with questions about health, accessing health care services or long-term care (some answers will need to be researched, of course).

Maintaining first-aid supplies and equipment.

Care Ministries columns in the Spire Newsletter (and on the website -- click here to read them).

Developing new Parish Care ministries as needs arise in conjunction with the spiritual care for members and friends of the church.
